Amazing, Marilyn — a workshop in under three minutes. I love your free style — just enough detail, but you leave me plenty to think about. You are not just creative, you are skilled as a digital artist. (Don’t know how I didn’t see this before. I try to keep up.)

    Hi Marilyn,
really enjoyed the tutorial video, however, it would be so much more useful if there was a hint about the brushes used.
    Cheers!

    Jens…

That movie is meant to be a demonstration and not a tutorial. Sorry about not making that clear!

Fantastic results using software – would never have known!

  9. Marilyn Sholin Says:

Actually Kate, that is MY HAND painting using the software. It is not a “button pressed” painting. If I stopped painting with my stylus and tablet then all the painting process stops. There is a vast difference between “using software to paint” and having the “software paint”. Also, now it is all taken many steps forward to print on canvas and paint with acrylics and gel mediums and other materials. The finished paintings are all very three dimensional and it’s wonderful to run my hand over them and feel all the paint textures.

Thank you for allowing me to clarify how this was done! Happy Painting to you also!
