Hi,
I’d like more information on the Asheville Digital Painting Forum: cost, schedule, planned activities, level of Painter required (I’m a photographer with barely beginner Painter skills).
Thanks for any information you can provide.

Hi Jim,
Going to be really honest, the level of Painter required for the FALL Four days is to know Painter enough to know where the brushes are, how cloning works and how Quick Clone works and to be aware of the general layout of the software. We are going to have an amazing group here for the Fall Painter Blast and they are all serious Painter users.
There is a TWO DAY BEGINNER Painter Workshop in July if you want to spend two days learning Painter so you are comfortable and then come back in the fall.
Here’s all the info you need though:
TWO DAY JULY BEGINNER PAINTER: http://tinyurl.com/2×2pq4
FOUR DAY FALL PAINTER BLAST: http://tinyurl.com/55gf5z
Cost and info is all there on the sites. Schedule for the Two Day is intensive two days at the computer learning the software and painting. BREAKFAST and LUNCH and SNACKS included.
Schedule for the FOUR DAY: Day One Exploring Different Methods of Painting and incorporating other software with the paintings also.
Day TWO: Fall Photography and Gallery Visits Meeting Other Artists
Day THREE: Morning: Paint from the day before photography (if desired)
Afternoon: PRINT our paintings and begin talking about Embellishing the prints and sealing them
Day FOUR: Morning: Embellish Prints, paint on them, explore Materials for ART on the prints
Afternoon: Share Advanced Painter Techniques and
Discuss Marketing, Promoting and Selling Our Artwork
That would pretty much sum it up I think!!
Thanks for asking!

I think I would like to sign up for the 4 day fall painter blast. Can you tell me how much of it is spent photographing, and how much is spent on the computer.

Marilyn, Is the second session of the fall four days of Painter and Photography still available ?
thank you for your reply, I am in Nashville Tn. Any plans to have workshops in this area?
Please keep me on your email list for future Painter workshops. I am a Photography student at Nashville State Community College and have had two semesters of Corel Painter. Love it! I am also an artist working in oils. Painter and oil painting are the two mediums that are of interest to me.
Thanks , rita j maggart

Marilyn, I missed your July beginner’s Corel workshop. Are you planning on giving another one in the near future and, if so, when and where?
Many thanks,
Elizabeth

Hi Marilyn,
I’ve just learned of your Asheville workshop from a friend who is attending. I see that the second session is sold out. If you happen to have a cancellation, I would love to know. I am located in Mountain Rest, SC about 2 hours from Asheville and would love to attend.
Many Thanks,
Donna E.
