How to Blog & Sell Art Online
This Spring, Chris of Studio|chris will team up with Marilyn Sholin to give a very special workshop on blogging in beautiful Asheville, NC! The workshop will be open to 10 students and will cover all aspects of blogging, from start to finish, using the WordPress blogging platform. We’ll also cover how to integrate your blog with your current website, if you have one, and how to get a website if you don’t have one already.
By the end of the workshop, all attending will have an awesome blog to use for marketing, online journaling, and keeping the world up to date on your art! Take advantage of this fabulous marketing platform.
Dates: May 18 and May 19, 2008, right between Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. Also included, an “early bird” wine and cheese reception on the evening of May 17 for those who want to stop by and visit before the workshop.

My father-in-law saw you and Chris at WPPI and told me all about your blogging. Something I would love to start, but I want to be more into it then just blogspot.com. This sounds so awesome! Are people signing up for this? If so, how many spots are available? Is it mainly for digital art websites or could my friend join me for her floral site http://www.artisanbloom.com? Thanks for your help. I learned lots from you when you came to Salt Lake
I was the big pregnant girl who was ready to BURST when you were in American Fork. I’m really excited about this!

Oh MY! BECKY!!! How ARE you? I can’t believe this! I remember that they had someone lined up to take your seat in case you “popped” before the workshop! I wish your father-in-law would have come up to say hello. I would have loved to meet him.
The workshop is for ANYONE that wants to get set up with a BLOG and learn how to update it and use it properly. We do have to reschedule this one because it turns out that is the weekend that my grand daughters first birthday is and I will have to be out of town to not miss that one!
I am looking at another weekend in the summer that is not too crazy here in Asheville to have it and to coordinate it with Chris. Is one month better for you than another? How is everyone there?
