Marilyn,
I am working in pet portraits right now, but assume a lot of your information on Portraits will also be useful for Pets. Am I correct? (except for skintones etc.)

Guess I missed the BIG discount before May 15, darn it! But please send me a PayPal invoice and link for registration.

Do you know of any inexpensive motels in the area of the workshop, that take pets? We are going to have to drive up as my husband refuses to fly anymore.

Hello Maggie! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Love this post and all the questions!

Let me answer the most important one first...about where to sit. I have had hearing impaired students before and have always found that if they sit directly in front of me or to the side left or right right up front, they manage just fine. Sitting right next to me you might get a hand in your eye as I am very active when I teach.

What do I need?
You need a laptop, Painter X installed, extension cord, a WACOM tablet.

What should I have or bring to the Workshop?
You creativity and contagious enthusiasm!

What Knowledge should be in place before attending?
How to use your computer basics. Open files, saving, creating a folder...computer skills

What extra funds should I have on hand in case of more tempting products etc?
I will be bringing my tutorials and CD's with me to tempt you. I always have special pricing
for workshops and take Paypal and credit cards.

How long is the Course?
Two Full Days October 5 and 6. That is a Sunday and Monday.
First day we like people to get set up between 8-9am and go till 5:00
Second day 9-5
Lunch in or Out?
I think we don't have that part settled yet. May go either way.
On and On!
Ask AWAY
Oh and do you Oncores!
Oh yes, I do!

By the way....we have put some special Early Bird pricing up for this event.
Everyone who is interested should really pay now early and get the special pricing!
If you register by May 15th.... get a whopping $75 OFF plus they get my Photoshop Mixed Bag CD FREE with registration.
After May 15th the price is $50 off until June 30th......but NO FREE CD
After June 30...full price of $400

If you want the Early Bird pricing...email me directly and we will send a Paypal invoice and the link for registration!

See you there Maggie???????

best...

Hello Marilyn,

Yes I am looking for more info on this Workshop and other stuff.

All the discoveries and info on Digital Painting has come to me within just the last 7 days.
After scrolling through Digital Painting yours was the first name that I tagged unto.
Secondly was a Gentleman and the third was Jane Conner-ziser and lastly Kathy Hillard.

I came back to your site and to my surprise you are coming to Beautiful British Columbia and
in my back yard of Maple Ridge. When I spotted Karen's Name and address I knew it was meant
to be. I had to meet her and find out what this was all about. That was on Monday.

I love your techniques and have done some stuff in Photoshop that most Pro Photographer wouldn't consider but I like stretching the boundaries to see if I can produce something special for my clients and myself.

Having Old School Photography behind me and digital photography before I cannot wait to learn even more.

I use to belong to PPOBC until I became sick while working for ABC Photocolor Lab in Vancouver. Before that I had my own Studio.

Even being sick I still kept dabbling in Photography and must say I am more enthused with Photography than ever before. Now especially since I have discovered YOU and your Techniques.

One Last request can I sit next to you so I can hear & see everything as I am
hearing impaired since age 2.

I do not want to miss a thing and I cannot wait till you get here!!!!

I cannot wait to learn from Karen as well as she is such a Gem and then some.

With Blessings
