Just got great news that when I speak at the PROPS convention in Orlando February 9 from 9am to Noon, anyone can now register to come to the Digital Painting Workshop! If you are not a PROPS member you can register for the three hour workshop for $225.00 and just come to that.

and not the rest of convention, please PayPal the appropriate fee
(listed below) for the class you’d like to attend.
PayPal to admin@prophotogs.com, in the subject,
please be sure to list who’s class you’re paying for.
Class fee:
Non-Members - $225 each class

This is a great opportunity to catch my three hour program on how I use Painter to sell more art and how to present yourself as an artist and not just a photographer.

The PROPS Convention is being held in a super location at the Embassy Suites on International Drive in Orlando

Program Highlights: BEING THE ARTIST YOU ARE

Selling your art in your studio takes an original marketing campaign to change the way your clients perceive you.
Take the journey from photographer to being an artist and learn the tricks of the trade along the way.
Think like an artist, not like a photographer.
Now you will have your wedding and portrait customers buying wall pieces of art with their albums.
Marilyn will show you how to increase your bottom line and increase your personal value to your clients.
Starting with your photography and changing the way you approach your sales appointments you will learn how to
sell more than just albums or small prints.
Learn how to make your online world all work together for you for free advertising and marketing.
She will teach you how to sell both paintings and your artistic photographs no matter how they were created.
You will learn how forming lines of products with your artwork validates your artistic exposure to your clients.
Learn from a photographer who has become a world recognized artist and still maintains a portrait clientele.
Includes a “Fast Painting Demo” using Corel Painter X to show how fast a portrait painting can be done and sent to the lab to print.
Finally a program that brings Painter together with Business and Marketing to truly make more money.

Digital Painting in the Smoky Mountains

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

We are home from North Carolina and we are missing Asheville and the Smokies. I can’t believe we missed the height of the “Smokies Fall Colors” by a few short weeks. But the Digital Painting Workshop at the Mountain Learning was wonderful. We went on a shoot at sunset, painted them in Corel Painter X and then we hand embellished them on the canvas…and to top is off JR taught everyone how to put together a canvas and frame it! From beginning to end, this was a three day workshop that had it ALL!
