Beginner Corel Painter

BEGINNER Corel Painter Workshop in Asheville with Marilyn Sholin, Corel Painter Master.

A Sunday & Monday workshop allowing for people arriving Friday or Saturday to enjoy Asheville and the Smokies for a few days first. Rate for the workshop is $399 and includes continental breakfast (most hotels also offer breakfast) and lunch each day plus yummy snacks.

Saturday night for early arrivals we will have a Wine and Cheese Light Snacks Meet and Greet.
Class Hours: 9am to 5pm with set up of laptops starting at 8am.

We have two laptops and some extra Wacom tablets available on a first come first reserved basis. (No extra fees for them).

We will also be printing the artwork on Red River Paper for you to take home your new artwork.

Register on the Workshops Website or in the Digital Painting Shop. Summer rates at the local hotels are reasonable and we will send a list of places to stay. Come with a friend and share a room to save on accommodations. Plenty of parking available for the workshop at our new state of the art on site classroom.

This class is LIMITED to twelve people.

Dinner as a class on Sunday night and spouses are invited to join the class for dinner (on your own fees for dinner).

How to Blog & Sell Art Online

This Spring, Chris of Studio|chris will team up with Marilyn Sholin to give a very special workshop on blogging in beautiful Asheville, NC! The workshop will be open to 10 students and will cover all aspects of blogging, from start to finish, using the WordPress blogging platform. We’ll also cover how to integrate your blog with your current website, if you have one, and how to get a website if you don’t have one already.

By the end of the workshop, all attending will have an awesome blog to use for marketing, online journaling, and keeping the world up to date on your art! Take advantage of this fabulous marketing platform.

Dates: May 18 and May 19, 2008, right between Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. Also included, an “early bird” wine and cheese reception on the evening of May 17 for those who want to stop by and visit before the workshop.
